Please take a moment to review the website to ensure that all pages with webforms are included in the list below.
2. PRIVACY POLICY PAGE - Kindly advise your customer to update their website with a Privacy Policy that indicates the information collected will not be shared or sold to third parties.
The Privacy Policy could become compliant if a statement similar to the following is added:
"No mobile information will be obtained from and/or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. You can always decline or stop receiving messages by responding "STOP" at any time. For more information, reply 'HELP'. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies."
Typically, the statement above appears as a section of the overall Privacy Policy Page under "How Do We Share Your Mobile Information?"
• The privacy policy must explicitly state that they are not sharing or selling the information they collect to third parties.
• The privacy policy should also describe how the information is used.
• The privacy policy should clearly state that customers have the option to opt-out by sending a message with the word "STOP".
